"It has been reported in the media that the think tank has suggested raising the retirement age to 75. Do you think that they have taken into account whether this would put additional physical, mental and emotional strain on the human body at an age where it is in decay brought on by the ageing process, (eg. loss of physical strength). Should this question be raised to Doctors/hospitals if this decision was forced on the population. Or do you think it is a good idea and that work forces us to keep active and live longer. Or are you happy with existing plan: From December 2018, the state pension age will rise for both men and women, until it reaches 66 in October 2020 and 67 between 2026 and 2028, then expected to rise again to age 68 between 2037 and 2039, although the revised timetable hasn't been confirmed.".
