Should there be a single standard approach for driving offences across the country?

The above question was asked to the It-Your-Vote community.

We provided additional information for the question which was:

"Currently for lower offences the chance of being offered a 'speed awareness course' can be purely down to where you live. Do you think this is fair? This question is based on a report entitled "Speeding offence detection and disposal in England and Wales, 2017-18" which was published by RAC Foundation (www.racfoundation.org).".

The available answers for this questions were:

1. No - the rules should be set and equal across the entire country

2. Yes - local police forces have the right to make this decision.

3. Not sure - police resources and limited funding can mean decisions like this have to be made. But it sounds unfair even if it is necessary.

The Winner !

The winning answer was "No - the rules should be set and equal across the entire country" with 76.47% of the total vote.
