Should the Chancellor increase peoples taxes?

The above question was asked to the It-Your-Vote community.

We provided additional information for the question which was:

"With the Budget due on Wednesday, is increasing the taxes paid by people the right way to help recover any shortfall in the public finances. Alternatively, is it unfair to recover any lost money in this way and therefore, it should be excluded and other methods used (business taxes etc..)".

The available answers for this questions were:

1. No-wait at least 2 years before increasing taxes on people

2. No-wait until next year before an increase in taxes on people

3. Yes-ok to Increase taxes on people's earnings now

4. Never increase taxes on people and other methods should be used (business taxes etc..)
