Should governments start tax rises now to pay for the costs caused by the COVID crisis?

"Around the world governments have spent billions on getting themselves through the COVID crisis. However, the long term impact to their economies will last for many years to come. Many economists believe that any tax rises should be withheld for at least 2 years, but the counter argument is the longer that you leave it, the more money that needs to be repaid. Do you think we should start tax rises now, wait 2 years and maybe to disagree with any tax rises ever.".
