"There is currently no limit to the number of years that a person can serve as a MP (provided they are successfully elected on a regular basis). Is this a good or a bad thing. The advantages are that it allows for some MP's to have a wealth of experience gained over many years. The disadvantages are that it creates 'career politicians' that could potentially lose sight of the reason they become a MP in the first place. ".
