Are the needs of business more important than trying to stop the spread of coronavirus?

"President Trump has said recently that “America will again and soon be open for business. Very soon. A lot sooner than three or four months that somebody was suggesting. A lot sooner. We cannot let the cure be worse than the problem itself.” Do you think this view is the correct one and that we are all putting too much importance into the opinions of the scientific community. Alternatively, is it more important that we listen to the scientific advice and the needs of businesses are not more important than people's lives.".
