"There is growing evidence that wearing a mask can dramatically reduce the chances of someone with coronavirus spreading it to an uninfected person. Also, there is strong evidence from places like Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong that wearing a mask really helps reduce the spread of the virus. Therefore, should an emergency law be passed to enforce the wearing of face masks in public.
Alternatively, do you think social distancing is enough and face masks are unnecessary. Also, the 'World Health Organisation' is not currently backing any mandatory wearing of masks in public. This is because they believe that people can misuse face masks and also get a false sense of security from the belief that they will be enough to prevent any infection.".
