Do you think it is acceptable to have to see your pharmacist first before seeing your doctor?

"Since October last year the 111 service has in some cases been pointing people to pharmacists first to diagnose medication problems and minor illnesses such as sore throats. Do you think this is acceptable or, do you think that a qualified doctor should be diagnosing and treating patients.".
