Should it be made illegal to cut down trees?

We provided additional information for the question which was:

"Should a law be brought in to make trees a protected species and permission needed to remove them or reduce their size by greater than a 20% limit (i.e. which will still allow people to maintain/prune them). Or, maybe you think it is okay to cut down trees if you wish.".

The available answers for this questions were:

1. No-if we own the land then we have the right to chop down our own trees

2. No view

3. Yes-should be made illegal and required permission be given first
