Should the six less survivable cancers which result in 51% of total deaths get more funding, as currently this does not happen?

"It has been reported by British Live Trust (britishlivertrust.org.uk) in joint research that six of the deadliest cancers: pancreatic, liver, brain, lung, oesophageal and stomach cancer have just a 14% survival rate, but account for 51% of all cancer deaths. However, there is no special focus to target more money on research and treatment for these six forms of cancer, while other cancer treatments (breast, prostate, kidney) receive more money. Is this wrong and should more money/effort be focused on these deadly six. Alternatively, do you think it is for the NHS to decide how it spends its budget.".
