"Age UK (www.ageuk.org.uk) has warned that the BBC could stop paying TV licences from as early as next year. The BBC was given the responsibility in 2015, but they have said that they are scaling back the benefit as they cannot afford the full cost. The benefit will be offered to only the poorest pensioners who are on 'Pension Credit'. Do you think that this is acceptable and pensioners should be paying for their TV licence. Or, do you think that it should stay free for the over 75s. ".
