Should we be accepting migrants into the UK if they try and get into the UK via the English Channel?

"There has been an increasing number of migrants that are attempting to reach the UK via the English Channel/Euro Tunnel. Should this be stopped straight away and anyone that is found crossing illegally sent straight back. Or, should we let these people in as they must be desperate to risk their lives to come here and we are all human after-all.".
