Is bribing children an effective way to get them to switch off their screens?

"Parents are recently using pocket money and rewards to get their children to reduce screen time. Reasons for them doing this is the greater risk of obesity and educational development being halted or interrupted. But, should there be more discipline given rather than rewards. Or, is it the only way in this generation to get them to listen and interact in other ways.".
