Would you be able to use the 'kiss of life' if you had to keep a person alive?

"Would you feel comfortable attempting the 'kiss of life' to save someone. Should everyone have basic training considering the difference it can make when someone really needs it. Or should it only be for people that feel confident enough to perform and unfair to expect everyone to receive training on this.".
